This public video projection mapping event was in conjunction with Hari Raya and the Malaysia Day celebrations on 16 September 2012 at Town Hall, Penang. With the theme `Raya Lights & Sound’, the highlight of the show was the collaboration between a Boria performance with building projection mapping. The Boria troupe, a heritage-listed performing arts unique to Penang, had a conversation with `old-man Town Hall’ on the sad plight of heritage buildings and how they should be appreciated. The building then proceeded to `dance’ to the beat of traditional Boria music, topped off with spectacular display of colorful graphics and fireworks.
This event was the product of creative synergy between Penang Global Tourism and DAM Interactive with gracious support from Penang state government.
